So last week I decided to purchase an actual pair of trainers.
If you know me you know that I NEVER wear trainers, I always found they just didn’t suit me so I never bothered to buy any. But I’ve decided that it’s time that I get fit and healthy just in time for summer (Australian summer that is). I bought the Nike Kaishi run in black and white and I have to say that I am obsessed with them. I actually have been incorporating the shoes into my everyday style not just with my workout clothes because they are so wearable and look great with almost everything.
I also downloaded the Nike running app which I have been using to track how far I am walking and I have found that by tracking how far I am walking it almost encourages me to push myself and go that extra mile (pun intended). The Nike training app is also another amazing fitness find, this app has tons of workouts ranging from beginner, intermediate and advanced so there is a workout for everyone on there. I have to admit I did the 30 minute ‘sweat and shape’ workout and my legs have not recovered yet, sitting down and standing up has been a bit of a struggle for me.. but that means it’s working right?
I plan to document my fitness journey as time goes on. I’m only a week in, but I’m feeling good and ready to keep it up.
